At Atomic Soul, our vision is to create new and different designs through the lens of neuro-divergency.
Hi My name is Soul and I am the creator and founder of Atomic Soul. I am a neuro-diverse individual with Autism and Severe Dyslexia, so writing is not my strong point and to be completely honest I did not write this but I did speak it. I've always found art to be quite annoying and remarkably frustrating, but I found that I had a passion for it when it came to digital art.
And I thought instead of letting my art waste away and to forgotten in time, I should take the plunge and start my own business selling my art and designs. To spread the message no matter what your background or disadvantage in life, you can achieve anything if you put your Soul into it.
Inspiration/a bit of the behind the scenes
At the moment, all of the art and designs are made by me personally.
I take inspiration from Asian culture and history specifically from Japan. I also like to mix in western design elements alongside how I feel, represented by the colours and design. I find it personally kind of hard to make colourful art which is why most of my art is quite monotone. I'm also not the best artist and I struggle with angles and perspective so I use quite a lot of reference pictures to help me with that, but however all of my designs, I have entirely made up in my head, and I only use the reference pictures to help me overcome my struggles with perspective and angles.
